Gan HaYeled Application 2020-2021

By completing this form, you are applying to register in the Gan HaYeled for the 2020-2021 school year. Prior to completing this form, make sure you have read the applications timeline on the “admissions” tab of the Gan website; please ONLY complete this form during the appropriate dates.

After completing this application form, you will receive an email notifying you that you have successfully applied. This communication will indicate the status of your application and next steps towards registration, according to the dates in the above-mentioned application timeline.

There is a non-refundable application fee of $300 per child. If you ultimately enroll in the Gan for the 2020-2021 school year, $250 of this fee will be applied towards each child's tuition balance. You may either pay your $300 application fee online via credit card or ACH (echeck). A 3% fee is charged for credit card payments.

Please indicate which Gan program you are applying for. If you are applying for the Onah part day program please indicate multiple preferences if able, as all programs are “enrollment-dependent” and may not be offered if demand is not sufficient. Prior to selection, please read the following notes:

**If multiple Onah program options work for your family, please indicate as such below. If only one program will work for your family’s needs, please select only one program.

**Please note that “Gan program” refers only to the days and hours that a class meets and is independent of teaching assignment, peer cohort, or other factors. Teaching assignments and class rosters will be determined by Gan administration over the summer and will be emailed to enrolled families by early or mid-August.

**All programs are “enrollment-dependent” and may not be offered if demand is not sufficient.

**All shanah programs have lunch and a two-hour nap each day. All Onah programs do not include nap; Onah programs with an afternoon schedule have lunch on the days they meet until 3:00pm.

**Generally, our three- and five-morning Onah programs are for children who are 2.0 through 3.11 by September 30 of the school year. Generally, our five-morning plus afternoons Onah programs are for children who are 3.0 through 5.0 by September 30 of the school year.

**Two-year-olds can apply to the Shanah program or the three- or five-morning Onah programs. Children must be two prior to September 30, 2020. Children turning two from September 8, 2020, through September 30, 2020, will begin school on October 1, 2020. This is due to OSSE licensing requirements. Appropriate “transition” schedules will be coordinated for each student, as needed.

**We do not anticipate running a “January 2s” class this year.

**For families applying to the Onah program, please note that Early Bird (8:00-9:00am drop off) will not be offered for the 2020-2021 school year.

**Lunch Bunch will be offered for the 2020-2021 school year. Lunch Bunch is a daily 12:00-3:00pm option for all Onah students. Lunch Bunch is a flexible, as-needed program: families can register their child for individual days the evening before, or for a consistent day throughout the whole year, or for every day. Registration will be available in August.
