Stepping Back In – A Song and Story Cycle of Communal Resiliency, Before and After the Pandemic

Saturday night February 4, at 7pm

Join us for a multimedia evening of song, liturgy, art and drama that will take us on a journey through time, space, memorial and healing.

Together, we will engage in communal, ritual steps and reflection to process the pandemic and to enter our next phase of life. We will unveil art pieces by Adas Israel resident artists, celebrate Shabbat Shirah with transformative music, experience original theater inspired by our congregants’ pandemic experiences, and dedicate our novel Siddur of Reentry. Concert performers and collaborators include Theater J, Cantor Arianne Brown, Micah Hendler, Flash Choir, and top DC musicians.
