High Holy Day Youth & Families Services

We are blessed to have so many families in our community. Children, like adults, can feel drawn toward different modalities of prayer. We have a variety of service options to enable our children and their grown-ups to engage in meaningful, communal experiences over the holidays.

Full Youth and Family High Holy Day Schedule:

Erev Rosh Hashanah, Sunday, September 5

  • Family Apple Picking, 10am  (More information coming soon) 

Rosh Hashanah, September 26 and 27

  • Family Service led by Rabbi Solomon 9:00am in the tent

  • Babysitting 9:00am - 1:30pm (Advance sign Up required)

  • Mah Tovu Service 10:30am - 11:30am in Kay Hall

  • K - 2nd grade Holiday Learning and Games 10:30am till 1:30pm in Funger

  • 3rd - 6th grade Holiday Learning and Games 10:30am till 1:30pm in Youth Lounge

  • 7th - 12th grade Afternoon Teen Chat, immediately following the rabbi's sermon, in Library    

Sunday, October 2nd

  • Family Tashlich, 10am (More information coming soon) 

Yom Kippur, October 5th

  • Family Service led by Rabbi Solomon 9:00am in the tent

  • Babysitting 9am - 2:00pm (Advance sign Up required)

  • Mah Tovu Service 10:30am - 11:30am in Kay Hall

  • K - 2nd grade Holiday Learning and Games 10:30am till 2:00pm in Funger

Outdoor HaMakom Tent in the Adas Parking Lot

For families who want to share the experience with their elementary school age children. The Family Service is open children and adults to participate together. (This service will be live-streamed for viewing from home.)

High Holy Day Babysitting is Back!

Adas Israel is pleased to bring back a babysitting option for the High Holidays this year. Babysitting will take place on Rosh Hashanah, September 26 and 27 from 9:00am - 1:30pm and on Yom Kippur, October 5th, from 9:00am - 2:00pm.

Kids ages 2 - 5 years old that are potty trained and Fully vaccinated for COVID are welcome to attend. Pre-registration is required in order to attend. Cost is $5.00 per child, per date.
