TZINGO is a fun-filled afternoon for our Gan students that not only fulfills the mitzvah of tzedakah but helps our children understand tzedakah in a tangible way. The kids will have a great time--and a pizza dinner too! The event benefits Hope for Henry Foundation, a D.C. non-profit that collaborates with health care providers on events and activities that advance medical care for seriously-ill children and help bring a smile to the children's faces. Henry was a Gan alum who tragically passed away in 2002 from Fanconi anemia when he was only seven years old. His mother founded the organization in his name. The TZINGO event starts off with making hamantashen and decorating 'get well soon' cards for the children that Hope for Henry helps. We then have a blast with a rousing game of Zingo (a version of picture bingo) and prizes. The afternoon is capped off with pizza dinner and eating the delicious hamantashen that the kids have baked!

Please bring a new children's book, plastic-wrapped toy, board game, or DVD, which Hope for Henry will deliver to the children it supports.
