Calling all bakers or baker-want-to-bes...

Join Hesed (loving kindness) cooking on Tuesday, October 29, at 6:30 pm! We will be cooking and baking to refill the the Hesed freezer for people who are sick, in mourning, juggling a new baby, new members or just in need of some sweet Hesed.

Participating in Hesed is a great way to meet new people of all ages, plus you get to cook or bake delicious food that is much appreciated by recipients. In addition, each cooking event incorporates kavanah (intention) and Torah learning with one of our rabbis, cantor or other educator.

Please be sure to register online if you’re able to join us. Attendance is limited to 20 participants and the spots fill quickly. Keep in mind that these events fill up quickly. Ø Volunteers must be 16 years of age or older.

Ø If you have long hair, please tie it back.

Ø Bring an apron if you have one or buy one or buy one of fabulous, adjustable and fully washable Hesed aprons from the Adas Israel Gift Shop.

Ø Please plan to arrive promptly as we will begin at 6:30 pm sharp. If you can no longer attend, let me know. There is always a waiting list.
