Hesed Cooking Team Event - Tuesday, January 8 @ 6:30 - 9pm. Registration limited to 20. Join fellow Adas members for a fun evening of baking challah and sweet treats. Learn some challah baking and braiding tricks from pros, Healy Sutton and Bonnie Benwick. The food we make will be stored in our community freezer to give to members in need, such as those who are ill or recovering from an accident or surgery, to shivah homes and to people juggling demands of a new baby. 

Registration is now open for the first Hesed cooking event of 2019. Volunteers are asked to be at least 16 years of age. We welcome all levels of cooks to help with Hesed cooking projects. If the sign-up list is full, please add your name to the wait list since we often are able to accommodate more volunteers. Because of the planning and food purchase involved, we ask that you sign up only if you are as sure as possible that you can participate. It is also helpful when you let us know in advance if you signed up, but are unable to attend because of unforeseen circumstances.
