Days for Girls (Rockville, MD chapter) initiative in partnership with the Adas Israel Mikvah, Social Action Committee, and Adas Sisterhood.


 

In many developing countries, girls and women have little or no access to menstrual care products. This serves as a barrier to school attendance, with devastating lifelong consequences. Days for Girls is an organization that provides menstrual care products and education to young girls in developing countries, which helps young girls across the world attend school during their periods while continuing their education throughout their teenage years. These products also help women provide themselves and their families with necessities while they are on their period. To make this event happen, we ask for your time and/or your financial support. We will bring together a group of volunteers on September 22nd; your donations in advance to purchase the necessary materials will make this event possible. If you can sew, pin, iron, cut, and unpackage and can join us on September 22th, please RSVP below.
