Yom Hazikaron (April 18, 2018) & Yom Ha'atzmaut (Apr 19, 2018)
Yom Hazikaron is Israel’s Remembrance Day. We commemorate the soldiers who have fallen fighting for Israel's independence and defending its security. Yom Ha’atzmaut (Israel's Independance Day) is always preceded by Yom Hazikaron, Israel’s Memorial Day for the fallen soldiers. The message of linking these two days is clear: Israelis owe their independence — the very existence of the state — to the soldiers who sacrificed their lives for it.
Please join us for morning and evening minyan, on Wednesday, April 18 and Thursday, April 19 for meaningful services and blessings to honor Yom Hazikaron and Yom Ha'atzmaut. In celebration of Yom Ha’Atzmaut, please attend our morning minyan at 7:15am on Thursday morning, April 19. Join us as we celebrate modern Israel’s past, present and future with a celebratory Israeli breakfast.
