Rachel Brown is a former fellow with the US Holocaust Memorial Museum and the Founder and Executive Director of Over Zero, an organization established to create long-term societal resilience to violence and positive, peaceful coexistence. Rachel is the author of Defusing Hate: A Strategic Communication Guide to Counteract Dangerous Speech, which brings together insights from diverse fields of expertise — from marketing to cognitive neuroscience — to support practitioners seeking to design communications-based interventions for atrocity prevention. As Lev B’Lev continues to explore hate in America, Rachel will bring a communications perspective that will help us understand how dangerous speech incites hate and reveal communications strategies for bringing about positive change for individuals, societies, and governments
