Daryl Davis, an award-winning African American musician, actor, author and bandleader, who has devoted a significant portion of his life trying to understand how racists in the Ku Klux Klan could hate him when they don’t even know him, will be speaking at Adas as part of our Lev B’Lev speaker series on May 5, 2018 from 1:00 to 2:30 pm.

As Lev B’Lev continues to explore the origins of hate in America and strategies for transforming those who hate, Mr. Davis offers an extraordinarily compelling personal story of how one brave soul bent on making human connections and finding common ground can replace hatred with friendship.
