Hesed Cooking Team Event - Tuesday, October 9 @ 6:30 - 9pm. Registration limited to 30. Join fellow Adas members for a fun evening of cooking for two good causes! Help us make a delicious lunch to be served the next day to the synagogue staff as our special thank you for all of their hard work, especially leading up to and during the High Holydays. We will also replenish our Hesed freezer with food for those who are ill or recovering, in mourning, home-bound, juggling the arrival of a new baby or in other demanding life situations. Registration is now open for this Hesed October cooking event. Volunteers are asked to be at least 16 years of age. We welcome all levels of cooks to help with Hesed cooking projects! If the sign-up list is full, please add your name to the wait list since we often are able to accommodate more volunteers. Because of the planning and food purchase involved, we ask that you sign up only if you are as sure as possible that you can participate. It is also helpful when you let us know in advance if you signed up, but are unable to attend because of unforeseen circumstances.
