Starting and raising a family is one of life’s greatest joys. With this joy and responsibility comes the need for support and community; we invite you to join us. Our new Family Center is a home for parents, children, and caregivers. We aim to create a safe space for exploration, discussion, and growth by focusing on the entirety of the family using the familiar Adas Israel values of shalom bayit (domestic harmony), mishpacha (family), kavod (respect), k’hillah (community), and ahavah (love).
Registration for prenatal and postpartum parent support groups is currently open via Pathways. We anticipate beginning in-person baby and toddler classes shortly. Contact Darci Lewis, DONA PCP, darci.lewis@adasisrael.org for additional information.
We are creating a home base for Gan HaMispacha on Adas Israel’s second floor. This will include:
Parent Support Room
Playgroups Room
Family Library
Parent Support Room - This room will host parent groups, such as prenatal, postnatal, and other areas of support. We are designing this room for a “living-room feel” to allow for adult conversation while staying child-friendly.
Playgroups Room - This room will host adult-and-me classes, such as tummy time, infant play, and not-quite-preschool classes. This room will be specially tailored to our youngest children.
Family Library - This room will bring together, and expand, Gan HaYeled’s 6,000+ book collection. This lending library will enhance the experience of each Gan classroom and be available for families to peruse on their own.
