Be part of another amazing Day of Service at Adas Israel!
For four inspiring hours, we’ll transform our building into a hub of compassion, creativity, and action. Choose one project or sample several; every hand makes a difference.

Mosaic joins Adas Israel’s annual Day of Service to lead community members in gathering stories around what it means to make good trouble. So many of us have a John Lewis story -- a connection to the congressman, a moment of being inspired by a justice movement, a narrative about a time you felt the call to make some good trouble. Mosaic will facilitate a narrative collecting throughout the Day of Service, gathering stories centering justice from throughout the community. Come ready to share, listen, and connect around good trouble making.

A selection of activities we expect to offer:

• CPR/First Aid Certification
• Lunch for Friendship Place (La Casa Shelter) – Team-cook nutritious meals that will be delivered the same day.
• Advocacy Letter Writing
• Climate Action Activity
• Bag decorating and notecard writing 
• Reproductive Justice Team activity 
• Bracelets for SMYAL – Make bracelets for LGBTQ+ teens to show they are seen and loved.
• Hesed Cooking
• Creative Crafts – Clay Painting Project
• Knitting Club Pop-Up – Join the Knitting Club for engaging activities for both kids and adults—no experience necessary!
• Dignity Kits
• Pet Supply Drive  – Pet food, treats, cleaning supplies, bedding, toys, leashes, collars, and grooming tools.
• Winter Clothing Drive - Donate your clean, gently used winter jackets, hats, and scarves.
• Partner projects with Capitol Hill 7th Day Adventist 
• Gift of Life will be onsite for people to learn more and swab!
