Families with Young Children

A Community for our Littlest Learners

Click here for a list of our upcoming events!

Adas Israel Congregation aims to engage all members of our community beginning with our littlest learners. For our families with young children (approximately ages 0-5), we offer a wide variety of programs including weekly play groups, monthly Shabbat services and dinner, holiday-specific programs, and more! All Families with Young Children (FYC) events are open to the community and we are happy to welcome children and their grown-ups. We are always adding to our programming, so please email our Families with Young Children Engagement Coordinator, Jocelyn Dorfman, to sign up to receive our bimonthly newsletter.

Weekly Programs

All weekly programs, with the exception of Tot Shabbat, run when the Gan is in session.

Sing N’ Play, Thursdays 10-11am: Join us for an interactive storytime experience in the library. Then your children will play & you will have time to chat with other adults.

Kangaroo Adult/Toddler Class: Is your child 18-24 months? Your child will get to know the warmth and wonder of the Gan with the support of a loved one. You will have opportunities to play with your child and to participate in child-rearing conversations facilitated by our amazing Gan teachers! Pre-registration is required. To register, click here. If you have questions, please e-mail Abby Koplow.

Tot Shabbat, Saturdays 11am: Join us in Cohen Hall for this weekly warm introduction to Shabbat morning services for young children and their families.
