About Gan HaYeled...
Adas Israel Gan HaYeled is a nationally recognized and accredited pre-school program that provides a warm and sensitive environment for children ages 2 to 5. Students learn about Jewish life and master developmental skills at their own pace. Classes are available two, three, and five mornings per week. Early morning and afternoon supplemental programs are also offered. Special workshops for parents and family events are sponsored throughout the year.
The Gan Parents Association (GPA) The GPA is an especially active group which works to enrich and enhance Adas Israel's popular pre-school program. Parents sponsors an annual children's book fair and organizes special services for our youngest congregants on the High Holy Days. The group also organizes family Shabbat and Havdalah dinners.
Sweet Summertime... A six week program of fun for our preschool children, activities range from cooling off in wading pools to creating special art projects to going on field trips to places such as the Puppet Company at Glen Echo and the National Aquarium. Sweet Summertime is a time to meet new people and form new friendships. Many of our Gan teachers work in the program assisted by a number of terrific teenagers.
Parent Toddler Programs
Special programs for parents and children approaching Nursery school age are offered throughout the year. Contact the school office for details.
