Capital Celebration - Flyer (6/1/08)
The Jewish Federation of Greater Washington has
established a web page with a summary of events and activities
scheduled in the DC area to help celebrate Israel's 60th birthday.
Visit www.shalomdc.org and click on the Israel@60 logo for community events of interest, which include lectures on peace prospects, archaeology, literature, and history; classical music and jazz; fashion events; and film shows. Israel's 60th Independence Day will be May 8, 2008. Adas Israel is planning an Israel at 60 party March 30, 2008 and an area wide celebration will take place June 1, 2008. |
